CAMERON — Mr. Guadalupe Lopez, 63, of Buckholts died Saturday, July 5 at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Monica Catholic Church in Cameron with the Rev. Walter Dhanwar officiating.

Burial will follow in Hernandez Cemetery.

Mr. Lopez was born Oct. 25, 1944, to Felipe and Antonia Ponce Lopez in Llano. He married Antonia Montalbo. He was a retired maintenance man for Buckholts I.S.D. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lopez in 1998.

Survivors include his wife, of Buckholts; five sons, Lupe Lopez Jr. and Justin Lopez, both of Buckholts, Stephen Lopez of Killeen, Gregory Lopez of Hewitt and Paul Lopez of Cameron; a daughter, Laura Lopez of Buckholts; a brother, Ricardo Lopez of Buckholts; six sisters, Olga Cheney and Yolanda Castillo, both of Waxahachie, Janie Montalbo of Cameron, Virginia Benavides of May Pearl, Mary Riley of Salado and Antonia Lopez of Temple; and nine grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron.
