LAMPASAS — Services for Carolyn H. Pruett, 65, of Lampasas will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Reid Schaub officiating.

Burial will follow in Killeen Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Pruett died Thursday, July 3, at a Lampasas hospital.

She was born Nov. 11, 1942, to Clarence Everett Herron and Thelma Blanche McPeak Herron in Kingsport, Tenn. She married Merlin Pruett on Aug. 20, 1966, in Pounding Mill, Va. She was a licensed vocational nurse in Lampasas, working primarily for area nursing homes. She was a Baptist and had lived in Lampasas since 1978. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include a son, Adrian Pruett of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Mindy Poole of Lampasas; a brother, Tommy Eugene Herron of Lawton, Okla.; her mother of Lampasas; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
