Services for J.D. Raley, 91, of Temple will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Bellwood Memorial Park with the Rev. Johnny Miller officiating.

He died Thursday, July 10, in a Temple hospital.

He was born to Floyd and Pearl Raley in Smithville. He married Vicky Brown in 1939. He lived in Temple most of his life. He was a graduate of Temple High School and Temple Junior College. He was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church and worked 41 years in signal maintenance and as a signal inspector for Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Signalmen.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years of Temple; and a sister, Aileen Kachel of Richardson.

Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple is in charge of arrangements.
