LAMPASAS — Services for Thomas Clayton Carnley, 72, of Lampasas will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lutheran Church in Lampasas with the Rev. Tim Oschner officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
He died Friday, July 11, in a Temple hospital.
He was born Aug. 13, 1935, to Oliver Carnley and Julia Lay Carnley in Fairhope, Ala. He married Marcia Johnson Feb. 11, 1956, in Fort Sill, Okla. He served in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as chief master sergeant. He was a member of the Lutheran Church in Lampasas.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years of Lampasas; three sons, Thomas Carnley and Max Carnley, both of Lampasas, and Michael Carnley of Round Rock; a daughter, Tammy Carpenter of Lampasas; a sister, Marie Linderman of Washington, DC; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas.
