Salado graduate Rosenau shines at 14th annual Centex Jammin' All-Star Games

BELTON - Salado graduate David Rosenau made the most of his final basketball game before football season starts next month.

Rosenau scored a game-high 22 points to lead Team 4 over Team 3 82-79 at the 14th annual Centex Jammin’ All-Star Games at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Mayborn Campus Center on Sunday.

Belton’s Trey Lippincott scored 11 points and Granger’s Stephen Brosch added two but their squad, Team 5, lost to Team 6, 97-96.

Jarrell’s Greyson Burns, who won the 3-point shooting contest on Saturday, scored two points as his Team 2 squad topped Team 1, 85-75.

Lippincott and teammate Zach Dickson of Centerville finished second in the two-ball event while Rosenau and Graford’s Ian Reedy finished fourth on Saturday.
