Cynthia Rue Wells, 49, of Temple died Thursday, July 17, at her home.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Temple with the Rev. Jack T. Riley officiating.

She was born Aug. 22, 1958, to Charles Garnet McNiel and Helen Robinson McNiel in Waco. She was a lifelong resident of Temple and was employed for many years as a nurse at Scott & White Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Jacob Wells of Temple; a daughter, Amber Wells of Temple; three brothers, Brian McNiel, Charles McNiel and Karl McNiel, all of Temple; her mother of Temple; and three grandchildren.
