Services for Agnes Ophelia Haynes of Temple will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Temple with Dr. U.C. Barnes Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Temple Garden of Memories.
She died Wednesday, July 16, in a Temple hospital.
She was born to Mack and Mary Sims in Tracy. She was a beautician and a licensed vocational nurse. She was an active member of Corinth Baptist Church; she served as deaconess, president of Pastor’s Aid, first president of Armor Bearers and was a member of the Mission Chorus and Sanctuary Choir. She married Harry L. Haynes on June 15, 1963. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Temple. She worked as a private duty nurse for several years in the Bell County area. He husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Sirdell Jordan of Temple; two stepdaughters, Flora Mae Haynes and Jacqueline Haynes, both of Temple; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Tuesday at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.
