BELTON — Ethel Evelyn Newbury, 83, of Belton died Sunday, July 20, at a Belton nursing home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dossman Funeral Home of Belton with the Rev. John Warden officiating.
Burial will take place in the Houston National Cemetery.
She was born April 25, 1925, to Zoda Reese Morgan and Blanche Ethel Irving Morgan in Harris County. She married Fred Hamilton Newbury Sr. in Houston on May 7, 1943. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Salado. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include three sons, Fred Hamilton Newbury Jr. of Belton, Larry Gene Newbury Sr. of Spring and Dale Leslie Newbury of Seguin; a daughter, Sherry McDonald of Tomball; a brother, Zoda “Buddy” Morgan of North Dakota; two sisters, Ossie Jean Holder of Cleveland and Euginia “Jeanie” Morgan of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
