GATESVILLE — Services for Thomas G. Majusiak, 50, of Gatesville will be 10 a.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Gatesville with the Rev. Tom Beaty officiating.
Burial will be in Restland Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Majusiak died Monday, July 21, at his residence.
He was born July 4, 1958, in Butte, Mont., to George and Julienne Marie Trudel Majusiak. He married Jane Smith on Mar. 16, 1979. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and retired from the U.S. Army in 1996 after 20 years of service. He was deputy for Coryell County Sheriffs department for four years, a police officer for the City of Gatesville, an EMT, a volunteer firefighter and was an umpire for little league.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Amy Nicely; two sons, Michael Majusiak and Tom Majusiak Jr.; a sister, Cecelia Norton; three brothers, Court Majusiak, Tim Majusiak and Victor Majusiak; and a grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, St. Jude’s Children Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville.
