Services for William Ralph Searles Jr., 41, of Temple will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Gregg Searles officiating.

Burial will be in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Searles died Sunday, July 20, at his residence.

He was born July 17, 1967, in Joliet, Ill., to William Searles Sr. and Carol Willcox Searles. He attended Lincoln Way High School in Joliet. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

Survivors are his wife, Nora Searles of Temple; a son, Scott Searles of Temple; two daughters, Amanda Searles and Jessica Searles, both of Temple; a brother, Gregg Searles of Lewistown, Ill.; two sisters, Sue King of Frankfort, Ill., and Linda Alderman of Tinley Park, Ill.; his parents of New Lenox, Ill.; and one grandchild

Visitation is 2-7 p.m. Wednesday with a family hour 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
