CAMERON — Services for Agnes Marion Wied, 90, of College Station and formerly of Cameron will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Monica Catholic Church in Cameron.

Burial will be in St. Monica Cemetery.

Mrs. Wied died Thursday, May 22, in College Station.

She was born Nov. 28, 1917, in Cameron to Joe and Sophie (Seibert) Hibner. She married E.L. Wied on Oct. 28, 1942, and together owned and operated E.L. Wied Hardware for more than 30 years. She moved to Rockport in the 1980’s and was an active member and volunteer of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and then to College Station in 1997.

Survivors include two daughters, Jolene Regan of Burlington, Ontario, Canada and Jane Rivers of College Station; a sister, Celia Hartnett of College Station; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to any charity.

Arrangements are being handled by Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
