Services for William A. Liesch, Jr. 90, of Lafayette, La., formerly of Temple will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple with the Rev. Jim Deaconson officiating.
Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Liesch died Sunday, July 20, Lafayette, La.
He was born Oct. 19, 1917, in Chicago to William and Elfrieda (Jobski) Liesch. He married to Florence (Krutkiewicz) Liesch on June 29, 1940 in Aberdeen, S.D., and she preceded him in death. He later moved from McAllen to Temple. He retired from the Olin E. Teague Veterans Center in Temple, where he worked as a Pharmacist for 20 years. He served as president of the Texas Hospital Pharmacists Association, and was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Gordon of Lafayette, La.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
