Services for Donald Graves, 85, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with the Rev. Roger Graves, the Rev. Jim Brazzil, and the Rev. Billy Koinm officiating.
Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park with military honors.
Mr. Graves died Monday, July 21, in a local nursing center.
He was born Jan. 16, 1923, in Coryell County to Cicero and Stella Humphries Graves. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He married Cydelle Bohn Oct. 19, 1947, in Marlin. He was a member of Heights Baptist Church, was a deacon, and was a song leader for the Golden Heights Choir. He was interim music leader at several churches in the Temple/Belton area. He was a salesman for the Nabisco Co. for 32 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 133 in Temple and had served in the Texas National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sharon Dell Phillips of Temple; Mary Emily Cox of Holland, and Shirley Pickering of Nelson, England; two sons, Donald R. Graves of Temple and Roger K. Graves of Ames, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
