LAMPASAS — Graveside services for Lucille Reed, 99, of Lampasas will be 1 p.m. today in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with the Rev. J.W. Hutcherson officiating.
She died Sunday, July 20, in a local nursing home.
She was born Oct. 12, 1908, to William and Edith Doolittle in Lampasas. She was a lifelong resident of Lampasas and had worked on the family farm. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lampasas, where she participated in the CAPS program. She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and David.
Survivors include three sons, Arthur Jones of Lampasas, and Arthur Reed and John Henry Reed, both of Denton; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas is in charge of arrangements.
