Services for Herman “D.T.” Bennett, 62, of Lubbock, formerly of Temple will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.

The body will be cremated.

He died Saturday, July 19, in a Lubbock hospital.

He was born Dec. 28, 1945, to George and Lucille Bennett in Temple. He attended Temple public schools.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Bennett of Lubbock; a son, Rory Bennett of Dallas; two brothers, Herbert Bennett and Rory Bennett, both of Temple; and two sisters, Louie Florence and Edna West, both of Temple.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
