Graveside services for John Lynn Rosser, 66, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Friday in Reeds Lake Cemetery with the Rev. Harlan Haines officiating.

He died Tuesday, July 22, at his home.

He was born March 14, 1942, to Charles A. Rosser and Eileen Rawls Rosser in Temple. He was a lifelong resident of Temple and graduated from Temple High School in 1960. He married Lou Ann Edwards on June 17, 1968. He was a Baptist and worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier at the Temple post office for 33 years. He was a member of the Letter Carriers Union and he served in the Texas National Guard.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years of Temple; a son, Neil E. Rosser of Pearland; two daughters, Amy E. Rosser of Round Rock and Alison Rosser of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and two sisters, Charlene Justice of Belton and Margaret Shelton of Temple.

Memorials may be made to Vista Care Hospice.
