BELTON — Memorial services for William “Rick” Richard Berry, 63, of Belton will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St Francis Episcopal Church in Temple with the Rev. Stan McGraw officiating.
He died Friday, July 25, in a San Marcos hospital.
He was born Sept. 29, 1944, to Ted and Lillian Spoonts Berry in White Hall. He married Suzanne Horner on Aug. 4, 1973, in Waco. He retired as an adult probation officer in Bell County after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Rotary Club for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church, the Peace Officer Association, Texas field Archery Association and a Boy Scouts of America volunteer.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years of Belton; five sons, Ricky Berry of Wellsville, Utah, Andy Berry of Belton, and Micky Berry, Carey Berry and Travis Berry, all of San Antonio; and five grandchildren.
