CAMERON — Services for Arlene Frances Ahrendt, 66, of Cameron will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron with Eugene VanNoord officiating.
Mrs. Ahrendt died Friday, Aug. 1, at her home.
She was born Jan. 16, 1942, to Robert E. and Helen Krigner Callender in Pekin, Ill. She attended schools in Washington, Ill., and East Peoria, Ill., and graduated from East Peoria Community High School. She married Don Ahrendt on March 6, 1965. They moved to Austin in 1967, where she worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Leif Johnson’s Truck City and later for the state of Texas. In 1976, they moved to Cameron.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years of Cameron; a son, William Ahrendt of Washington, Ill.; three daughters, Kelly Dellerman of Minerva, Stacy Wuthrich of Houston and Rachel Cole of Cameron; two brothers, Michael Callender of Secor, Ill., and Roger Callender of Bloomington, Ill.; a sister, Elaine Callender of Secor, Ill.; her father of Secor, Ill.; her mother, Helen Thomas of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron.
