ROCKDALE — No services are planned for Dee Williams, 88, of Rockdale.

Mrs. Williams died Saturday, Aug. 2, at her home.

She was born Aug. 9, 1919, to W.R. Gaskey and Rosa M. Buckner in Batson, Hardin County. She retired after 18 years of service as a supervisor of the Garment Factory with the Texas Department of Corrections. She married Weldon H. “Willie” Williams on Sept. 24, 1984, in Rockdale. She was preceded in death by her husband of 14 years on Jan. 31, 1999.

Survivors include a sister, Cleo Canant of Kemah.

Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale is in charge of arrangements.
