Funeral services for Deborah “Debbie” Stewart, 53, of Temple will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Billy Koinm officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart died Sunday in a Temple hospital.

Mrs. Stewart was born to Dan Hoadley McIlvanie and Phyllis Entmier McIlvanie in Chicago on Feb, 22, 1955. She had been a resident of Temple for the past 35 years. She was employed by the Temple Daily Telegram for 26 years. She was a member of the Temple Bowling League and served as the volunteer activity coordinator of her apartment complex. She was an avid bingo player.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles “Chuck” McIlvanie and Jeffrey McIlvanie, both of Temple; two sisters, Cynthia Castillo of Belton and Deanna DeGraff of Temple; companion James Pruitt of Temple and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
