GATESVILLE — Services for Jo Davidson, 78, of Gatesville will be 2 p.m. today at Live Oak Baptist Church in Gatesville with the Rev. David Diggs officiating.

Burial will be in Davidson Cemetery near Mound.

Mrs. Davidson died Sunday, August 3, at a local nursing center.

She was born Nov. 30, 1929, in Gatesville to U.L. and Jennie Lou Swift Rhoads. She grew up in Osage and graduated from Gatesville High School in 1947. She married Andy Davidson in 1948, and they lived in Gatesville. He preceded her in death in 1997. She was a member of Live Oak Baptist Church for over 25 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Hammock of Gatesville and Lou Ella Gideon of Harlingen; three sons, Dwayne Davidson, Joe Davidson, and Allan Davidson, all of Gatesville; 11 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Davidson Cemetery Association, 2413 Osage Road, Gatesville, 76528.

Arrangements are being handled by Gatesville Funeral Home in Gatesville.
