Mrs. Ann Machealek, 88, of Temple died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008 in a local nursing home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple with Eric Hammer officiating.

Mrs. Machalek was born to B.F. and Victoria Younts Ashcraft in Temple on Oct. 27, 1919, She was a resident of Temple for most of her life. She married Joe W. Machalek in Temple on July 4, 1940. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie D. Machalek of Springfield, Va., and Robert L. Machalek of Georgetown; two sisters, Geraldine Davis of Dalhart and Beulah Warren of Temple; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home.
