Services for Roy Neal Martin Sr., 59, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Reed’s Lake Cemetery with Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating.

Mr. Martin died Saturday at his residence.

He was born to Stwart Mays Martin and Essie Clark Martin in Marianna, Ark., on March 25, 1949. He married Rachael Lynn Foster in Temple on March 25, 1969. She preceded him in death on June 3, 2008.

Survivors include two sons, Roy Neal Martin Jr. and Christopher Neal Martin, both of Temple; four daughters, Kathy Martin, Stephanie White, Melissa Mayo and Stacie Lynn Martin, all of Temple; one brother, James Martin Sr. of Blytheville, Ark.; one sisterm Jessie Mae Matthews of Denver; 15 grandchildren and one-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
