CAMERON — Ivy Mae Laurence, 77, of Beaukiss died Tuesday, Aug. 5, in a Bryan hospital.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Lawrence Chapel Cemetery near Thorndale with the Rev. Tim Tutt officiating.

Mrs. Laurence was born May 14, 1931, in Rockdale to Albert and Fannie Myrtle (Martin) Caywood. She married Walter Bradford Laurence on May 17, 1950, and he preceded her in death in 1983. She worked as a nurse.

Survivors include three sons, Glenn Laurence of Cameron, Eugene Laurence of McMahn and Darrell Laurence of Hutto; a brother, Hubert Caywood of Minerva; two sisters, Lilly doss of Austin and Ella Caywood of Rockdale; five grandchildren; and two great–grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6–8 p.m. Thursday at Marek–Burns– Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.
