ASHEBORO, N.C. — Memorial services for William Edwin “Ed” Milner of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Temple will be Sunday afternoon, Aug. 9, in Ute Park, N.M.
Burial will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, N.M.
Mr. Milner died on June 9.
He was a native of Houston. He graduated from Temple High School and served in the U.S. Army, 1941 to 1945. He graduated from Baylor University and was employed for 32 years as the scenery director for WBAP-TV (KXAS) in Fort Worth, retired in 1983 and moved to Albuquerque in 1992.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Margaret Milner; a son, Bill Milner of Asheboro, N.C.; a daughter, Peggy Loney of Columbus, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
