BARTLETT — Services for Wilferd “W.L” Kurtz, 90, of Holland will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church in Bartlett with the Rev. Michael Swink officiating.

Viewing will begin at 10 a.m.

Mr. Kurtz died Friday, Aug. 8, in a local hospital.

He was born June 12, 1918, to William and Adale Friedrich Kurtz in Holland. He married Gladys H. Chollett on June 1, 1941, in Burlington. He was a life-long resident of Holland.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years of Holland; five sons, Weldon Kurtz, Harold Kurtz and Lloyd Kurtz, all of Holland, Elton Ramthun of Gatesville and Darrell Kurtz of Pearsall; a daughter, Patsy Cross of Temple; a brother, Melvin Kurtz of Bryan; and six grandsons.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett.
