Services for Bertha M. Brown, 95, of Moffat will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Moffat with the Rev. Joe Broadway and the Rev. Wiley Zinn officiating.
Ms. Brown died Sunday, August 10, at her residence.
She was born July 14, 1913 in Bell County to W.H. “Dobe” Brown and Annie Gertrude (Lawson) Brown. She was a longtime resident of Moffat where she graduated from Moffat High School. She worked as a sales clerk at F.W. Woolworth Co. in Temple for 32 years before her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Moffat where she taught Sunday school and worked in the children’s departments.
Survivors include a sister, Clara E. Brown of Moffat.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Moffat, Moffat Community Center or charity of choice.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
