ROCKDALE — Graveside services for Willard L. Cone, 93, of Minerva will be 10 a.m. Friday in Minerva Cemetery with John L. Green officiating.

Mr. Cone died Tuesday, Aug. 19, in a Rockdale hospital.

He was born April 15, 1915, to Ryan Grafton and Winnie Elizabeth Dyer Cone in Milam County. He was a 36-year resident of Minerva. He was a farmer and rancher. He married Ruth Irene Blackwell on May 24, 1939, in Lubbock. He attended Mount Zion Baptist Church in Minerva.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years of Minerva; two sons, Gary L. Cone and Allen Montandon, both of Oklahoma City; a daughter, Karen Moore of Arlington; three brothers, Emmitt Cone of Waco, R.C. Cone of Minerva and Roger B. Cone of Temple; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
