ROCKDALE — Graveside services for Willie Faye Reed, 85, of Magnolia will be 11 a.m. Saturday in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mrs. Reed died Tuesday, Aug. 19, in a Tomball hospital.

She was born March 5, 1923, to Joseph C. and Willie Faye Hays Jones in Doucette.

She married Merdic “Bill” Reed on July 1, 1978, in Cameron. She attended the Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband on Oct. 8, 1996.

Survivors include two sons, James Leo Anderson of Alma, Okla., and Freddie Bell of Copperas Cove; six daughters, Patsy Faye Conner, Barbara Gene Attensil and Edna Jane Roth, all of Dayton, Linda Lue Bell and Peggy Lynn Bell, both of Tomball and Wanda Sue Krotzer of Magnolia; a sister, Rosa May Roper of Belton; 17 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.

Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale is in charge of arrangements.
