ROCKDALE — Services for Lola B. Roper Leystra, 91, of Milano will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with the Rev. Billy Crowe officiating.

Burial will follow in Gause Cemetery.

Mrs. Leystra died Thursday, Aug. 21, at a local hospital.

She was born April 26, 1917, to Frank and Mary Reese Roper in Gause. She married Oliver Douglas Leystra on March 23, 1970, in Eldorado. She was a homemaker, who worked as a waitress and a grocery clerk. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 4, 1993; a son, John Benjamin Jones on June 13, 2002; and a grandson on Dec. 30, 1976.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary King of Milano; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
