BELTON — Services for Inez Marx, 85, of Temple will be 3 p.m. Monday at First Lutheran Church of Temple with the Rev. Pat Dietrich officiating.
Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Marx died Thursday, Aug. 21, in a Belton nursing home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1922, to Adolph and Elsie Abel Helms in Osage. She moved to Temple in 1948. She married Albert Marx on Nov. 29, 1944. She was past president of the East Bell County Aggie Moms and held the position of historian at the state level. She was a Girl Scout leader and PTA president at Reagan Elementary and Travis Middle School. She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Temple and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Marx of Temple; two daughters, Linda Marx and Nancy Elaine Taylor, both of Houston; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
