Graveside services for Luther Webb, 86, of Bartlett will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Bartlett City Cemetery with the Rev. R.L. Woolridge officiating.

Mr. Webb died Friday, Aug. 22, in a Temple hospital.

He was born March 4, 1922, to Prince and Hattie Mitchell Webb in Gonzales. He attended school in Bartlett and later served in the U.S. Army. Before retiring, he worked at Goodnight Funeral Home in Bartlett as a gravedigger and janitor for 42 years.

Survivors include a son, Leonard Harris of Belton; a stepdaughter, Janice Carranza of Bartlett; three sisters; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2–6 p.m. Friday at Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple.
