Services for Herbert West, 76, of Gatesville will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Assembly Church in Gatesville with the Rev. Ray Nunn officiating.

Burial will follow in Turnersville Cemetery.

Mr. West died Friday, Aug. 29, in a Gatesville hospital.

He was born June 16, 1932, to Henry and Lola Mae West in Belton. He worked in the lumber industry as a cedar cutter.

Survivors include a son, Richard West of Gatesville; three daughters, Patsy Sellers, Shirley Williams and Sonya West, all of Gatesville; and a sister, Miamie Wise of Azle.

Branford/Dawson Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
