Services for William A. Haisler Jr., 67, of Kempner will be 7 p.m. Thursday, with military honors at the Sheppard Funeral Home with James Briggs and Dr. Brant Myers officiating.

Interment will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Cremains will be interred at a later date.

He died Sunday, Aug. 31, in Houston.

He was born July 3, 1941, in Temple to Kathryn Roper and William A. Haisler. He married Cinda Lou Burden on April 11, 1964, in Houston. He worked as human resource manager for Delta Centrifugal Corp. in Temple and was a veteran, serving in the Army.

He was a trustee with the Lampasas school board, the Lampasas Economic Development Corp. and the Temple Chamber of Commerce; a member of CTHRMA; and a voting delegate with the Republican Party.

Survivors include his wife of Kempner; two daughters, Charlotte Renee Sakallah of Dickinson, and Cheryl Elise Haisler-Blankenship of Georgetown; a son, William A. Haisler III of Copperas Cove; four sisters, Linda Haisler and Dorothy Haisler Taylor, both of Temple; Sharan Haisler and Karan Haisler, both of Moody; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. Thursday before the service.
