Davie Jim Patton, 63, of Kingsland died Tuesday, Sept. 2, in a Temple hospital.

Private family services will be at a later date.

Mr. Patton was born April 26, 1945, in San Saba, to Grover Dennis and Etta Verna Wilson Patton. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Paulk of Kingsland; a daughter, Diana Jean Patton of San Antonio; two sons, Jim Bo Patton of San Antonio and Lance Scott Patton of Midland; a step-daughter, Gabrielle Paulk of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a stepson, Travis Paulk of Fort Worth; a sister, Doris Maldonado of Richland Springs; a brother, Jerry Joe Patton of Texas; and five grandchildren.
