BELTON — Wesley Boren, 74, of Temple died Wednedsay, Sept. 3, at his residence.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Dossman Funeral Home with Joe Baisden officiating.

Mr. Boren was born June 24, 1934, in Ralls to Johnny Raymond and Othell Earlene Hudgins Boren. He lived in numerous places in Texas as a youngster. He graduated from Belton High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He worked in the department of finance at Fort Hood and retired after 31 years.

Survivors include a son, Kirk Boren of Belton; a daughter, Ronda Boren Hanson of Little River–Academy; his mother, Lorene Boren of Belton; two brothers, Royce Boren of Belton and Charles Boren of Kosse; a sister, Sondra Boren Williams of Groesbeck; and two granddaughters.
