Services for H. Mae Patrick Chizum, 87, of Temple will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating.

Private family burial will be in Killeen Memorial Park.

Mrs. Chizum died Wednesday, Sept. 3, in a local nursing home.

She was born Oct. 28, 1920, in Tekamah, Neb., to Stephen Riley and Sarah Jane Crowder Patrick. She married Gaylord Chizum on Dec. 10, 1940, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 25, 1994.

Survivors include a son, David Chizum of Valley Mills; a daughter, Kay Daugherty of Temple; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
