KILLEEN — Curtis Garner, 56, of Killeen died Friday, Sept. 5, at his home.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

Mr. Garner was born June 1, 1952, to Oliver and Ruby Garner in Berlin, Germany. He was a police officer with the Killeen Police Department for more than 25 years. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Garner, in 1988.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Doris Garner of Killeen; a son, Derrick Garner of Killeen; two brothers, Oliver Garner of Killeen and Raymond Garner of Laredo; and a sister, Joyce Garza of Rosharon.

Memorials may be made to Scott & White Hospice, 2401 S. 31st St., Temple 76508.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
