Services for John Thomas, 95, of Temple will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.

Mr. Thomas died Thursday, Sept. 4, at his home.

He was born Aug. 13, 1913, to Edmond Thomas and Tennie Lemmons. He served in World War II in the European Theater. He was self-employed as an artist/sign painter. He married Camela Nardiello of New York on Dec. 31, 1942. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years of Temple; a son, John E. Thomas of Troy; a daughter, Kibbie Thomas Saxon of Temple; a brother, Don Thomas; a sister, Dorothy Thomas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
