Private services will be held for Mildred “Mickey” Nolan, 88, of Temple.

Mrs. Nolan died Thursday, Sept. 4, at her home.

She was born June 3, 1920, to John Edward and Bertha Jane Moore Potter in Caldwell County. In 1938, she graduated from Austin High School in Austin. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion Post No. 133 in Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Connie D. Nolan and a daughter, Billye M. Davies.

Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Granger of Belton; a brother, W.T. Potter of Alpine; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Legion Post No. 133, 1300 South 25th Street, Temple, Texas 76504

Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. today at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
