BELTON — Services for Evelyn Jane Puckett, 87, of Temple will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Arthur Washburn officiating.

Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Puckett died Friday, Sept. 5, at her home.

She was born Aug. 31, 1921, to Eps and Effie Clements McInis in the Bottoms Community. She had lived in the area since 1961. She married Tommy Ray Puckett in Belton. She worked in food service at Temple College before retiring. She was a member of the Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James McCracken, Frank Kotrla and Tommy Ray Puckett; and a son.

Survivors include two sons, Harold McCracken of Koffman and Steven McCracken of Temple; a brother, Lloyd McInis of Belton; and two sisters, Louzelle Green of Killeen and Sadie Lee Kemp of Arkansas.

Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. today and visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
