PFLUGERVILLE — Services for George Thomas Faith, 90, of Round Rock, formerly of Temple will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.

Burial will follow in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.

Mr. Faith died Saturday, Sept. 6, at his home.

He was born Sept. 23, 1917, to Cora Idella Shepperd and John David Faith Sr. in Temple. He married Winona Wall on Dec. 21, 1941. He served in the Army National Guard during World War II. He briefly taught in a one-room school north of Temple. He worked as a purchaser for Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple for 16 years and for the State Board of Control in Austin for 18 years.

Survivors include his wife of Round Rock; a daughter, Peggy Ann McGee of Round Rock; and a grandson.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
