BELTON — Services for J.T. Scoles, 51, of Salado will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Father Tom Wallace officiating.

Mr. Scoles died Sunday, Sept. 7, at his residence.

He was born May 16, 1957, in Hillsboro, Wis. to John Victor and Shirley May (Johnson) Scoles. He grew up and attended schools in Reedsburg before joining the U.S. Army. Following the service he worked for Richard Waters Construction as a welder and heavy equipment operator in Port Aransas and in central Texas for 25 years. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include his parents; three sisters, Linda Dempsey of Wonewoc, Wis., Sheri Huebner of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Helen Powell of Reedsburg, Wis.

Arrangements are being handled at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
