A funeral Mass for Margaret “Peggy” Kovalchik of Killeen will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen.

Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Mrs. Kovalchik died on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 in a Temple hospital.

She was born on October 25, 1928 in Echo, La., to Florent and Azelena Guillot.

Mrs. Kovalchik was preceded in death by her husband, John Kovalchik,.

Survivors include a son, Michael Kovalchik of Killeen; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.
