Private family services for Tom E. Campbell, 88, of Temple will be Saturday with Scott Meyer officiating.

Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Temple.

Mr. Campbell died Sunday, Aug. 31, in a local hospital.

He was born July 1, 1920, to John Clarence and Lottie Lancaster Campbell in Temple. He worked as a truck driver most of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Neze.

Survivors include a son, Tom “Sonny” M. Campbell of LaPorte; a brother, Perry Mac Campbell of Boise, Idaho; and a sister, Mary Jo Mitchell of Mansfield.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
