CAMERON — Memorial services for Marjorie Wykert Cauley, 93, of Cameron will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Cameron.
Mrs. Cauley died Tuesday, Sept. 9, in Cameron.
She was born March 2, 1915, to Henry Wykert and Mary Ingram in Sumner, Iowa. She grew up in Donna, the Texas Rio Grande Valley and in San Antonio. While working at Central Power & Light, she married Edwin Roy “Son” Cauley in April of 1937. She worked in civil service for 27 years, retiring as Administrator of Public Works of the Naval Auxiliary Air Station (NAAS) in Kingsville. She retired in Kerrville and was the Director of Volunteers at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. At age 80, she married Virgil “Stacy” Stacy. She was preceded in death by both husbands, “Son” in 1993, after 56 years and “Stacy” after 8 years.
Survivors include two sons, Ed Cauley of Cameron and Keith Cauley of Monticello, Utah; two stepchildren; Terry Stacy of Corpus Christi and Peggy Whipple of Kerrville; four grandsons; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to FUMC Cameron or Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Kerrville.
