ROCKDALE — Graveside services for Robbie Williams Petty, 103, of Victoria, formerly of Temple will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Sharp Cemetery in Sharp with the Rev. Richard Poole officiating.
Mrs. Petty died Wednesday, Sept. 10, in Victoria.
She was born July 6, 1905, to Lee and Lucinda Martin Williams in Milam County. She married Marvin Petty on June 9, 1929, in Sharp. She received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education from Southwest Texas University in San Marcos. She was a teacher for 45 years in San Gabriel, Sharp and Rockdale schools. She was a member of the Temple Garden Club, First Presbyterian Church in Temple and a life member of the Retired Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.
