COPPERAS COVE — Services for Margaret Brodie, age 86, of Copperas Cove will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim Robertson officiating.

Burial will follow at a later date in Scotland.

Mrs. Brodie died Wednesday, Sept. 10, in a Temple hospital.

She was born February 1, 1922 in Dundee, Scotland to Robert McDonald and Helen Muirhead McDonald. She moved to the Copperas Cove area three years ago from California. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Copperas Cove. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Brodie.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Brodie of Nashville, Tenn. and Ian Brodie of Surprise, Ariz.; a daughter, Margaret Marshall of Copperas Cove; two sisters, Helen Stisi of Scotland and Flora Murray of Michigan; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
