Mr. J.W. Wade, 80, of Temple died Friday, Sept. 12, in a Temple hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. John Witte, Rev. Jimmy Hinton and Rev. Robert Mattson officiating.
Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park.
Mr. Wade was born Sept. 16, 1927, to John M. and Ruth Bowman Wade in Vernon. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He married Mildred Northen on Nov. 26, 1949, in Troy. He retired in 1985 as the director of finance with the city of Farmers Branch after 22 years of service. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, serving as a deacon and a member of the Encouragers Sunday school class.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years of Temple; a son, Glen Wade of Coppell; a daughter, Marilyn Wade of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.
