KILLEEN — A Mass of Christian Burial for Ricky Rosario Soriano, 59, of Killeen will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Killeen.

Burial will follow in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with full military honors.

Mr. Soriano died Thursday, Sept. 11, in a Temple hospital.

He was born April 20, 1949, to Jesus and Rosalia Rosario Soriano in Agana, Guam. He married Julia Soriano. He served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years and was a Vietnam War veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years of Killeen; four sons, Ricky Soriano Jr. of Killeen, Michael Soriano of Waco, and Greg Soriano and Andrew Soriano, both of Killeen; two brothers, Joseph and Anthony Soriano, both of Guam; and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Fisher House, Building 36015, Fort Hood, Texas 76544; an organization dedicated to serving wounded soldiers and their families.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
